Post Polo Pork*

+
We have some surplus sausages from last night's party so that seems like a good excuse for a barbecue! There is a public barbecue near the courts so we'll head over there once we are freshly bruised and battered. I'll bring along the bare minimum, basically consisting of some sausages, bread, and tomato sauce if you're lucky, anything else you might like is up to you to haul out there.

See you at the courts.

*yeah, yeah, I know the sausages I have are beef, but beef doesn't start with a 'P' does it!?

Sunday Sessions

We had lots of great games this afternoon in the heat with old friends and new, in between these games we discussed the future schedule and we are going to change things up a little. After trialling a weekly Wednesday session we've come to the conclusion these aren't sustainable alongside the Sunday games. But fortnightly games aren't enough for my fellow polo addicts, therefore starting next Sunday we will be out on the Wakefield Street courts every Sunday.
This will alleviate the 5th-Sunday-of-the-month issue that has caught a people out in the past, myself included, and allow the people working 2-on 2-off roasters to come out for more than a few months at a time. It will hopefully make it easier to attract more new people too.

So, in summary: we will no longer play Wednesdays, but will play every Sunday.

Wednesday Polo

Wednesday Polo is happening again tomorrow night at the Wakefield St multi-use courts. We'll meet just after 6pm at the courts. If it's raining drop past the Exeter on Rundle St and we'll re-evaluate from there.
